Charles "Chuck" Fitzpatrick

HARRISBURG - Charles "Chuck" Fitzpatrick, 77, passed away Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016, in Villas of Hollybrook in Harrisburg.

He was born Nov. 8, 1939, in Benton, the son of Charles and Dealie Davis Fitzpatrick.

Chuck was married to Doris Jane Hines, and she preceded him in death on March 8, 2007.

He owned Rolling Clean/Midwest Waste Management and Granny's Kitchen.

Chuck was a member of Lighthouse Worship Center and had been a Chicago police officer for 22 years before coming to Harrisburg.

Survivors include his son, Charles Fitzpatrick Jr of Harrisburg; four daughters, Ola Mae Kuhlmann of Harrisburg, Jacalyn Boyt of Pittsburg and Judy Vogelzang and Donna Fitzpatrick, both of Harrisburg; seven brothers, Bill Fitzpatrick and Donnie Fitzpatrick, both of Benton, Larry (Dutch) Fitzpatrick of White Ash and Rick, Bob, David and John Fitzpatrick, all of Harrisburg; two sisters, Martha Sweet and Rose Bushue, both of Benton; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Doris; five brothers, Jack, George, Denny, Leonard and Arthur Fitzpatrick; and two sisters, Etta Mae Lance and Monie Powell.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, in Harvest Deliverance Church in Harrisburg with the Rev. Bob Fitzpatrick officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
