Phyllis Ann (Schroll) Conrad

HARRISBURG - Phyllis Ann (Schroll) Conrad, 83, of Belleville, born Friday, Feb. 10, 1933, in Harrisburg, died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016, in Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Phyllis worked as a bookkeeper.

She was a member of Cross Street Community of Christ Church in Shiloh and Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors include two sons, Larry (Mary Beth) Conrad of Polk City, Iowa, and Gary (Laura) Conrad of St, Louis; six grandchildren, Ben (Grace) Conrad, David (Katie) Conrad, Alyse Conrad, Paige Conrad, Kaily Sciarratta and Payton Sciarratta; three great-grandchildren, Colin, Catelynn and Bella; sisters-in-law, Wilma Hunt of Oberlin, Ohio, and Betty Fernandes of Bethalto; and dear nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne M. Conrad; parents, Freeman and Mildred (Lambert) Schroll; brother, Bert Schroll; and three sisters, Lela Guest, Geneva Schroll and Carolyn Roberts.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28, in Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville with Pastor Galen Henson officiating. Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, at the funeral home.
