Kim Lynette Grounds

HARRISBURG - Kim Lynette Grounds, 58, passed away at 1:08 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, at her residence.

She was born Feb. 28, 1958, in Harrisburg to the late Barbara Baer. On March 13, 1982, she married Michael W. Grounds, and he survives.

Kim was a retired caseworker at Coleman Tri-County.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Harrisburg.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Grounds of Harrisburg; daughter, Tristyn Grounds (Nick Fowler); stepchildren, Brian Jump and Dustan Smith; grandchildren, Addyson Cockrum, Cooper Givens, Cameron Castros and another grandbaby on the way; stepgrandkids, Jacob Jump, Dezerae Smith, Keylee Smith and Kate Smith; aunt, Shelby Hooten; uncle, J.D. (Donna) Baer; brother-in-law, Alan Grounds; sister, Kris McGhee; brother, Kyle McGhee; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Harrisburg with the Rev. Jack Lucas officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to gather at the cemetery.

Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg is in charge of arrangements.
