Ricky Dale Frailey

Ricky Dale Frailey, husband, father, PaPa, Uncle and friend. Rick went to be with the Lord on September 13, 2016. He was born on March 8, 1955 in Eldorado to Ewell and Lela Newberry Frailey. Rick met the love of his life, Patricia Gates, in the summer of 1973. The two were married on December 7, 1973. The couple had two sons, Richard and Robert. Rick worked for Sahara Coal Co from 1975 until it closed in 1993. Rick then went on to get his CDL's and most recently worked for Bulldog Systems.

Rick coached his son's baseball teams when they were little and was a positive influence on hundreds of boys and girls through baseball and softball. Rick also enjoyed bowling and won a mixed league one year with his wife Pat. Rick enjoyed working outside and could not wait until Saturday to come so he could mow his grass. When the mowing was finished, Rick loved to take Pat out to eat or for a drive in their Mustang.

Rick had a love for dogs and will be glad to be reunited with his Pekinese, Pepper. Rick loved the Lord Jesus with all his heart and has served him since he was saved not long after he and Pat were married. One of Rick's favorite ways to serve was driving a church bus or having a BBQ for the church to attend.

One of his greatest joys was becoming a grandpa. Rick was blessed with six grandchildren, Brittney, Jeffrey, Bradley, Hunter, Noah and Sydnie.

Rick is survived by his loving wife Patricia, 2 sons Richard and wife Sherrie Frailey and Robert Frailey, his sister Joyce (Tootie) and husband Billy Leonberger, his sister in law Susan Gates, a brother in law John Gates and 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ewell and Lela Frailey, and in-laws John and Mildred Gates.
