Kenneth Dale Dunn

Kenneth Dale Dunn, age 79 of Harrisburg, died April 8, 2016 in Harrisburg. He was the eldest son of Daniel Kenneth and Ethel Mae Dunn, both deceased.

Known to many people as Ken or Kenny, he was a long-time member of the American Legion, the Elks and the International Union of Operating Engineers. He was an avid sports fan, especially of Major League Baseball in general and the St. Louis Cardinals in particular. For more than a decade he had taken great pleasure in spending time with his "adopted" grandchildren, Nicholas and Destini Beckham.

Two of Ken's brothers are still living, Herb (Sarah) in Tampa, FL and Ron (Helen) in Reston, VA. He is also survived by an aunt, Donna Cissell of Indianapolis, IN, and by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends are invited to remember Ken at a visitation at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 5 to 8 PM. Military rites will be conducted by the Harrisburg American Legion at 11 AM, Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Ingram Hill Cemetery. The family requests no flowers.
