Eldorado Garden Study Club wins Best District Yearbook Award

ELDORADO - Eldorado Garden Study Club recently received the 2018 "Best District Yearbook" award at its spring District VII meeting.

President Marilyn Ellis, Secretary Dana Keating and members Jeanne Warren and Roma Lee Wilson represented the club at the District VII spring meeting in Benton on March 28.

The group enjoyed a presentation by Pete Housman, floral designer, as well as lunch catered by The Weeping Willow and many displays and sale items.

The highlight was the presentation of the award for 2018 Best District Yearbook to Ellis. The award is given to the club who prepares and submits the best collection of press publications for the year, meeting all required standards and guidelines.

There are 10 clubs in District VII. The club thanks Liz Garrett, club treasurer, for compiling the 2018 yearbook, and the Harrisburg Register and Travis DeNeal for their support and cooperation in publishing articles and pictures submitted.
