The Saint Joseph and Saint Paul Youth Faith Formation, along with their families, will be preparing and serving Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, Nov. 23, at Marion Ministerial Alliance, 103 E. Calvert St.
The youth and their families are making sure that dinner is available to everyone on Thanksgiving Day.
Cooking will start at 7 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning, and the dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A traditional Thanksgiving dinner of turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, green beans, corn, cranberry sauce and rolls will be served. Generous donations of food by the youth and parish help to provide the food for the meal.
Many church families have delayed their own Thanksgiving plans to be a part of this community service.
