Saline County Homemakers host International Night

Saline County Homemakers closed the book on the Philippines for their 2017 International study.

Jeff Robinson, associate minister and youth minister of Star General Baptist Church, was the featured speaker at International Night. The event was at The Villas of Holly Brook.

Robinson presented a program on his ministry in the Philippines, complete with a slideshow. He then joined HEA members for a buffet dinner that featured several authentic Philippine foods.

HEA units set up tabletop displays showing the culture, dress, foods, industry, sports, etc. of that country. Winners of these displays were Country Friends, first place; Town and Country, second; and Ledford Liberty Belles, third.

Also, the ladies took a tour of The Villas of Holly Brook, provided by Emily Clore.
