Lexa Carney crowned EHS Homecoming Queen

ELDORADO - Eldorado High School senior Lexa Carney was crowned EHS Homecoming Queen in a Friday night ceremony at the high school, and Jacob Traxler was crowned Homecoming King.

Carney is the daughter of Tara and Scott Artman and Amber and Alex Carney. Traxler is the son of Denise Traxler and Mark Traxler.

Other candidates for queen and king were Emilie Farmer, daughter of Sarah and Jason Farmer, Rachel Stafford, daughter of Tracy and Tim Stafford, Olivia Parker, daughter of Angela and James Parker, Garrett Canimore, son of Kelly Canimore and grandson of Jeanna Canimore, Kale Oglesby, son of Valera and Keith Oglesby, and Braden Attebury, son of Angie and John Attebury.

Carney received her crown and bouquet from 2016 retiring queen Taylor Gass.

Junior attendants were Shainna Ralston, Faith Hooper, Garrik Quertermous and Justin Mace. Sophomore attendants were Lauryn Hampton, Molly Williams, Blakely Watt and Evan Coyle. Freshman attendants were Liza Carney, Jimma Gass, Bradley Boulds and Aiden Whitlock.
