Walmart Foundation is helping the homeless in southern Illinois

The Walmart Foundation issues a $5,000 check to Southern Illinois Coalition for the Homeless in recognition of the volunteer services of a group of associates from Sam's Club in Marion. The associates volunteered 339 hours and contributed through the Walmart Foundation's Event Volunteerism Always Pays program. Southern Illinois Coalition for the Homeless provides affordable housing and supportive services to the homeless and near homeless in Southern Illinois.
