DAR proud to celebrate 90th anniversary

Michael Hillegas Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution met March 11 to accommodate the 90th anniversary celebration of the chapter that was set for March 25.

Members enjoyed refreshments while discussing the monthly business.

The chapter has gone through many exciting changes over the years, including merging with the Samuel Elder Chapter from Eldorado. The two chapters have grown into a large group.

The largest endeavor this year has been honoring the Vietnam veterans for their service with many different celebrations throughout 2016 and 2017.

The chapter was proud to celebrate its 90th anniversary on March 25 and looks forward to a future filled with service.
