Are you ready for 4-H Camp?

Southern Illinois 4-H Camp will be at Du Bois Center in Washington County. We will be offering two camping sessions this summer: June 18-21 and June 21-24.

Du Bois Center offers horseback riding, canoeing, fishing, hiking, team building, arts and crafts, swimming and more water fun on the fabulous giant floating water mat! We realize that our families each have unique circumstances at different times which affect the ability to pay for camp. Fees for camp will be using tiered pricing. Need a little extra help this year? Choose Tier I. Have the ability to help subsidize the cost for a family in need? Choose Tier III. This is an honor system. The tier chosen will not impact a child's camp experience.

Tier payment levels include Tier I, $169; Tier II, $199; and Tier III, $229-plus. Camp enrollment deadline is May 1. Direct camp questions to Melissa Wilson at wilson08@illinois.edu or Liz Miller at lizmill@illinois.edu.

Screened 4-H volunteers are invited to join us at camp to provide a program for campers. The second and third days of each four-day camp are filled with "choice activities." The activities are built into the schedule as 45-minute sessions. Activities may be indoor or outdoor, educational or recreational.

If you want to help out, but do not want to bring a program, you are also welcome to supervise the rec room, arts and crafts, Gaga ball pit, Frisbee, fishing or other outdoor sport.
