Eldorado FFA Advisor, Bill Kittinger, recently gave Eldorado FFA Alumni members a tour of the new welding bays and construction projects that are currently underway in the shop. Alumni members also discussed plans of where to place fryers and supplies for this year’s fish fry. From left are Cody Cusic, Jack Lane, Matt Allen, Bill Kittinger and Andy Cusic.

The Eldorado FFA Alumni is serving up some fish to benefit the school's agriculture program in attending competitions and scholarships.

The 12th Annual FFA Alumni Fish Fry is 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday in the school cafeteria. The meal is $8 and includes catfish, fried potatoes, baked beans, cole slaw, hush puppies, drink and dessert. Carry outs are available in a different line.

FFA Alumni President Cody Cusic said the organization has in its 12 years raised over $60,000 for the ag program.

Cusic said he joined the FFA Alumni Association and agreed to serve as president this year because of the support he received from the group while in Eldorado FFA.

"I was a chapter officer and section officer. When they asked me to be president of the alumni this year I knew how the alumni helped me and wanted to continue to be there," Cusic said.

With funding for education at a near crisis point Cusic said the FFA Alumni Association's support is more important than ever.
