Perry County Days this Saturday will have bicentennial theme

PINCKNEYVILLE - A golf tournament, corn hole tournament and fishing derby are among the scheduled events for Saturday in Pinckneyville as part of Perry County Days.

The golf meet is a four-person scramble at Red Hawk Golf Course at a cost of $200 per team or $50 per individual. Tee time is noon. Food will also be served at the clubhouse grille. Lunch is from 12-1:30. There will be a dinner buffet from 5-7 p.m. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Checks should be made payable to Perry County Days.

A corn hole tournament runs from 4-8 p.m. Cost is $20 per team. Participants are asked to preregister on the Mac's corn hole boards on Facebook.

Additionally, there will be a Free Kids Fishing Tourney for children ages 4-12 from 3-5:30 p.m. There will also be games, activities, food, music, and demonstrations on both sides of Beaucoup Creek.

Proceeds raised from the golf outing and corn hole tourney will be donated to the NubAbility Athletics Foundation, which serves limb-different youth.
