Due a reporter's errors, in clarification and correction of the story, "Carrier Mills joins the golf-cart generation," on Page 1A of the Wednesday, Sept. 10 edition of the newspaper, golf cart permits will be issued Oct. 1 in Carrier Mills, but the village will not charge for permits until Jan. 1, 2009; Kris McNew was co-director of the village's Emergency Management Agency; and the full-time Water Department clerk received a $50 per month salary increase and part-time clerk received a 50 cents per-hour raise.
