Du Quoin Chamber awards 'Spook Your Stoop' prizes to local businesses
The Du Quoin Chamber of Commerce last week announced the winners of its second-annual "Spook Your Stoop" contest, which challenges downtown businesses to decorate their storefronts for Halloween.
Winners were chosen via "likes" on Facebook. First prize went to WDQN and the Du Quoin Weekly, which will receive two tickets to the annual chamber dinner in January, the traveling trophy and a newspaper spotlight.
Second prize went to the Du Quoin Call, which wins a $25 gift certificate to a chamber business. Third place went to KeKe's Closet, which wins a $15 gift card.
