Has anyone ever heard of daffodils in January? I have, now, since I saw two blooms on a daffodil clump in the backyard Monday.
Daffodils blooming on Jan. 30 must be some kind of record. I guess we should appreciate our mild weather this year, but I can't help feeling nervous global warming has reached Southern Illinois.
Let's hope the weather stays mild through the summer, too.
Are there blooming daffodils in any other areas of the county?
