Larry C. Thomas Sr., of Harrisburg
HARRISBURG -- Larry C. Thomas Sr., 67, passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m Thursday at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado.
Mr. Thomas was a laborer for Union 561 out of Evansville, Indiana. He was a member of Eldorado VFW.
He was born July 21, 1949, in East St. Louis to Roy C. and Rosemary (Fernandez) Thomas, who preceded him in death. On Oct. 5, 1998, he married Wanda Yarber, and she survives in Harrisburg.
Other survivors include his son, Larry Thomas Jr.; three grandchildren, Samantha Thomas, Kendra Thomas and Willie Thomas; two great-grandchildren, William Tucker and Carnie Hopkins; great-great-grandchild, Jordan Hopkins; two brothers, Melvin (Carol) Totra and Bob Totra; two sisters, Brenda Foster and John and Mary Ann Totra; and sister-in-law, Arlene Totra.
