Prep Bowling: Harrisburg takes pair of matches from Massac Co.

The Harrisburg High School boys and girls swept their bowling match against Massac County Friday.

The Bulldog boys came out on top 2429-2289, while the Harrisburg girls won 2689-1909.

Zach Hunt paced the boys with a 562, while Carter Rice followed that up with a 521.

On the girls' side, Courtney Keasler had a 544 to lead the Bulldogs.

"The boys continue to show improvement in each outing," HHS head coach Doug Cottom said. "Zach is doing a good job of keeping the ball in play and Carter has been very consistent. On the girls side, it has been difficult to get all five clicking at once. Our two freshmen are starting to feel more comfortable, which is good because we will need them eventually."
