  • OBITUARY: ChriSandra “Chrissy” Lampert Williams

  • Chrissy went missing in Rosiclare on Dec. 2, 2013. Large amounts of search efforts were conducted by ground, air, and water. Finally, on March 20, 2014, a search team from Moro, Team Watters, discovered Chrissy and her vehicle in the Ohio River in Rosiclare in front of the park only 25 feet off the bank.

  • Chrissy went missing in Rosiclare on Dec. 2, 2013. Large amounts of search efforts were conducted by ground, air, and water. Finally, on March 20, 2014, a search team from Moro, Team Watters, discovered Chrissy and her vehicle in the Ohio River in Rosiclare in front of the park only 25 feet off the bank. Cause of death is unknown at this time.
    Chrissy was an amazing person who had a heart of gold and a smile that would captivate your heart.
    She never met a stranger and considered many a friend. At the time of her death she was a resident of Shawneetown; however, she lived 20 years in Eldorado and was originally from Hardin County.
    She was a wonderful mother and very proud of her only child, PVT Dustin H. Williams (USMC). He was her life and she couldn’t wait to see him become a Marine, unfortunately she never got to see it. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, niece and friend.
    She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, William “Dude” Lampert, of Cave-In-Rock; maternal grandmother, Kathryn “Peggy” Oneal Harrelson of Ridgway; maternal grandfather, John Krikie, of Ridgway; uncle, Jimmy Krikie Sr. of Ridgway; great-uncle, “Mugg” Lampert of Hardin County; great-uncle, William Oneal of Ridgway; great-aunt and -uncle, Jim Bob and Margie Oneal of Ridgway; great-aunt, Hazel Krikie Oneal of Ridgway; great-aunt, Geraldine Oneal of Ridgway; cousin, Chelsea Potts of Eldorado; great-aunt and -uncle, Pos and Beulah Harrelson of Shawneetown; great-aunt and -uncle, Lillian and Harliss Johnson of Ridgway; great-aunt and -uncle, Pearl and Ken Evitt of Fla.; great-aunt, Beth Nelson of Fla.; cousin, Daryll Daymon; great-uncle, Glenn Kenreck, Randall Kenreck and Jim Kenreck of Hardin County; great-aunt, Wanda Grace of Ariz.; father-in-law, Bill Williams of Eldorado; and brother-in-law, David Williams of Eldorado.
    She is survived by her son, PVT Dustin H. Williams, of Eldorado; father and stepmother, Dennis and Carmen Lampert of Broughton; mother, Mary Krikie Stone of Shawneetown; sister and brother-in-law, Tami and Wes Jackson of Norris City; stepsister, Chris Ann and Rich Cox of Ridgway; loving ex-husband, Doug “Shag” Williams of Eldorado; grandmother, Sally Kenreck Lampert Owen of Dale; grandfather (101 years old), Carroll “Smokey” Harrelson and wife Joan of Carterville;

    Page 2 of 2 - Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at the Watson Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Robison officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2014, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to "Hope for Chrissy" and can be left at the funeral home.
