  • Main Street Eldorado is busy preparing for its annual Main Street Christmas Tree Festival and Holiday Market to be held at the Old Eldorado Courthouse 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

  • Main Street Eldorado is busy preparing for its annual Main Street Christmas Tree Festival and Holiday Market to be held at the Old Eldorado Courthouse 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
    A luncheon will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
    There will be a Christmas Tree decorating contest with entrants from area businesses. Judging will award prizes for prettiest tree, most unusual tree and a judge's choice will be awarded as well.
    Santa is planning to show up to get his photo made with children from the area. No charge, but you must bring your own camera. Santa's photo-op will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
    The Holiday Market on the second floor of the refurbished historical building will be open for business the whole time. Crafts, treats for the taste buds and jewelry will be offered to help whittle down your shopping list. Any questions about the Market should be addressed to Charlotte Brown at 841-9124 said Bev Watson, co-chair of the events committee for Eldorado Main Street.
