  • A Harrisburg man was injured in a semi tractor-trailer and motorcycle collision 9:17 p.m. Nov. 26 in Hardin County.

  • A Harrisburg man was injured in a semi tractor-trailer and motorcycle collision 9:17 p.m. Nov. 26 in Hardin County.
    Daniel M. Curry, 39, Harrisburg, was driving north on state Route 34 704 feet north of CR-435N and attempted to pass a northbound semi tractor-trailer in a no passing zone, according to a press release from Illinois State Police.
    Driving southbound was a semi tractor-trailer driven by Larry J. Lackey, 35, Ridgway, which struck Curry’s motorcycle, ejecting him off the bike, according to the release.
    Curry was transported to Hardin County Hospital with incapacitating injuries.
    Curry is charges of disobeying a no passing zone, DUI-alcohol and operating an uninsured vehicle, the release indicates.
