  • The unofficial list of candidates who have filed for the March 18, 2014, Primary Election shows many are vying for county office.
    Kim Buchanan is running for Saline County Clerk and Recorder on the Republican ticket and Bruce A. Tolley is running on the Democrat ticket.
    Danny Ragan and Sarah J. Wallace are both running on the Republican ticket for county treasurer.
    Michael E. Gribble is running as a Republican for sheriff and Donald Keith Brown and Danny W. Gibbs are running as Democrats.
    Saline County Board Republican Candidates for a four-year term are Jeffrey E. Murrie, Karla Carrigan, Rodney D. Wallace, Joseph M. “Joe” Jackson, Carey Lee Harbison, Trina J. Irwin and Jonathan Prather.
    County board Democrat candidates for four-year terms are Jay D. Williams, Greg Segraves, Katie A. Clayton, Kelly Hefner, William Brandon Henshaw and Mitch Cornaghie.
    County Board Republican Candidates for two-year unexpired terms are Jose L. Durbin, Allan Porter and Jeff Street.
    County Board Democrat candidates for two-year unexpired terms are Kelly Hefner, Georgia Cowger and Mike McKinnies.
    There will be a question for electrical supply for the village of Raleigh.
