  • The women of the Harrisburg First United Methodist Church are using a tried and true method to raise money for worldwide and local missions including the Christian Community and Compassion Center.

  • The women of the Harrisburg First United Methodist Church are using a tried and true method to raise money for worldwide and local missions including the Christian Community and Compassion Center.
    They are putting on a Christmas Bazaar for the 78th consecutive year, Dec. 5 at the church.
    The ladies will serve coffee at 7 a.m. and dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
    The charge for the meal is $8 and will include chicken casserole, green beans, sweet potatoes, cranberry relish, rolls, dessert and drink.
    You may get your meal packaged for carry out.
    There will also be a silent auction, craft sales, baked goods and home made candy for sale.
