  • Eldorado Police arrested a man accused of burglarizing several businesses along U.S. Route 45 Saturday morning.
    At 6:30 a.m. Nov. 9 Eldorado Police Officer Clint Hooper responded to report of a burglary in progress at Medicap Pharmacy's storage building in Eldorado, according to a press release by Eldorado Police.
    Hooper located a 19-year-old Jedidiah Oliver, Louisville, Ill., into custody. Officers of the Eldorado Police found other buildings in the area burglarized including Saline County Finance Office, ROC One Stop storage building, a car wash storage building, and ROC One Storage Units.
    Saline County Detention Center's inmate booking log Sunday stated that Oliver had been preliminarily charged with five counts of burglary, six counts of criminal damage to property and theft. He remains held in the Saline County Detention Center on $2,500 cash bond.
