Egyptian Health Department, Hamilton County Health Department and the Southeastern Illinois Leader’s Forum Committee are offering community leaders the opportunity to become involved in a region wide effort to build healthier communities and work sites.
The Healthy People…Healthy Communities, Southeastern Illinois Leader’s Forum will be held 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24 at the Southeastern Illinois College Foundation Center in Harrisburg.
Keynote speakers are Michael White of WELL Street who has extensive knowledge and experience related to worksite wellness programs, and Laura Minzer of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce who will address the Affordable Care Act and its impact on Illinois. Representatives from local businesses will also be sharing their worksite wellness initiatives.

The goal for this forum is to get leaders from all sectors of our community (Saline, Gallatin, White and Hamilton Counties) committed to building a healthier community through individual worksite initiatives as well as through joint community efforts.
