Steve Stricklin, 53, 710 Charleston St., Harrisburg, died 1:55 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.
Burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg. The Rev. John Kennedy will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Harrisburg Town and Country Lions Club, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
He was born on Dec. 31, 1959, in Harrisburg to Walter E. and Neva (Davidson) Stricklin.
He married the former Connie Kennedy on Sept. 18, 1999.
He was employed at the Harrisburg Township Highway Department. He was a member of the Harrisburg Town and Country Lions Club, a HAM operator and a volunteer for the Harrisburg Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife: Connie Stricklin of Harrisburg; daughter: Mindy Stricklin Taylor of Eldorado; mother: Neva Stricklin of Harrisburg; two grandsons: Ethan and Christopher Taylor of Eldorado; two sisters: Teresa (James) McMillan and Nicole Stricklin of Harrisburg; two nieces: Ashley (Brent) Volkert and Monica Bartimus; three nephews: Brandon McMillan, Nicholas Dye and Zachary Dye; three stepdaughters: Debbie Harris of Manchester, Tenn., Tina Sasser of Knoxville, Tenn., and Angela LeMaster of Dayton, Ohio; nine stepgrandchildren; one great-stepgranchild; mother-in-law: Wilma Kennedy of Carrier Mills; three sisters-in-law: Karen Lutwinski, Donna Kennedy and Susan Bensavage; two brothers-in-laws: John Kennedy and Pat Kennedy.
He was preceded in death by his father: Walter E. Stricklin.
