The Marion boys' soccer squad put up three first half goals and added another three in the second half for a 6-0 shutout over Harrisburg Tuesday night.
Harrisburg's Ryan Cowsert, who logged 71 minutes in net and made three saves, took the loss for the Bulldogs.
Brennan Hawkins made another two saves in nine minutes for Harrisburg.
Harrisburg had just three shots on goal against the Wildcats. Anfernee Houston returned to the Bulldogs from a bout with mono to have two shots on goals, while Luke Horton had the other.
"We played a very good first half but it was a very fast paced game," Harrisburg head coach Mike Stewart said. "I think we just ran out of gas. I was very happy with the level of play the Bulldogs showed tonight. (Marion) possessed the ball and moved the ball very well. They were able to move the ball a little better but their speed is what caught off us guard. If we play soccer the rest of the year like we did the first of half of (Tuesday's) match I would be very happy with the progress we are making."
