The Harrisburg boys golf team took a triangular match with Carterville and Du Quoin Thursday at Crab Orchard Golf Club.
Harrisburg finished with a 153 as Ben Fowler took medalist honors with a 37. Carterville finished with a team total of 170 while Du Quoin shot a 233.
Ryan Williams also had a 37 for Harrisburg, as did Carterville's Jacob Ekland. The three went into a playoff for medalist honors, where Fowler won in a two-hole playoff. The Harrisburg sophomore hit his approach shot on the second playoff hole within six inches of the cup and tapped in for the birdie.
Alexander Tison had a 39 for Harrisburg, while Dillion Street shot a 40. Patrick Bittle had a 42 for the Bulldogs, while Garrett Jenkins fired a 45.
Harrisburg is now 21-2-1 on the season and return to action Thursday in a match against Marion at Kokopelli Golf Course.
