  • There was a clown goat that wanted to munch on his handler's skirt, Duck Dynasty heifers and a human caterpillar.
It was the Crazy Showmanship contest at the Saline County Fair.
One entry was Rachel Parish, a 4-H alumnus from Harrisburg, who dressed her goat in an evening gown and wig to imitate the Gilligan's Island character Ginger.
Another was the human caterpillar led by Kate Hackbart and her five-month-old son, Mason.
There were three heifers dressed as members of the TV show Duck Dynasty and a single heifer led by Brad Payne of Eldorado. The crowd loved it.
The MC, Jim Richey, said it was the most fun he had at a county fair in all his many years.
