Glenn Miller Dunk, 37, of Shawneetown, died on Thursday, July 4, 2013, in the Morganfield Nursing and Rehab in Morganfield, Ky.
Glenn had been injured in a motorcycle accident in 2010. He was born in Eldorado, Jan. 15, 1976, to Rick Dunk and Betty (Mitchell) Kinnard. Glenn's passion for arts began at an early age; recognized by his painting and musical instrument playing abilities. Later on into his teens he began a very rewarding modeling career with MJK and Wilhelmina. His modeling career set the path for an acting career in Los Angeles. Glenn made a path from the East Coast to the West Coast; even across the Atlantic to Europe. He simply loved life which could be seen with his contagious smile. His gracious and kind ways will always be remembered.
Glenn is survived by his parents, Betty Kinnard of Shawneetown and Rick Dunk of Shawneetown; two daughters, Ayli Anna Dunk of Harrisburg and Devin Hish of Ridgway; two brothers, Tony Dunk of Eldorado and Frankie Dunk of Dallas, Texas; and a stepsister Angie Dunk of Shawneetown. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Anna Mitchell who helped raise Glenn.
Visitation for Glenn will be on 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2013, at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown. His funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2013, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Lindale Cemetery in Eldorado.
