Daniel Leander Sais, 59, of Harrisburg, died July 2, 2013, at his residence.
He was born in Pueblo, Colo., on April 10, 1954, to the late Rumaldo and Eulalie (Ballas) Sais. He was a member of the Harrisburg First General Baptist Church where he loved his church family and where he gave his life to Christ in 2000. He was the Tech manager at the Cap factory.
He married Heather (Wood) Sais in 1989 and she survives in Harrisburg. Also surviving are his five sons, Daniel (Amy) Sais of Pueblo, Colo., Anthony (Jenette) Sais of Pueblo, Colo., Jesse Sais of Harrisburg, Joshua (Kacie) Sais of Harrisburg, Jacob (Kaitlyn) Sais of Phoenix, Ariz.; four grandsons, Ty, Kyle, Braden and Riley; and one grandson on the way; five granddaughters, Jacie, Jalyn, Annisty, Madilyn and Aria. Also surviving are brothers, Jose (Margaret) Sais of Pueblo, Colo., and Johnny Sais (Anne); and sister, Vicky. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by an infant sister Ruby, a brother Ramond and a sister Rose.
Memorial services will be held noon Saturday July 6, 2013, at the Harrisburg First General Baptist Church with visitation from 10 a.m. until noon at the church.
