    Man-Tra-Con workers are clearing brush next to the bike path north of Eldorado.
    Man-Tra-Con Corporation has been providing “no-cost” workforce connections to job seekers and employers for over 30 years through funding provided by the Workforce Investment Act (WIA).
    The workers in Eldorado are out of the Marion office.
    Billy Bradley, ordinance operator for the City of Eldorado said, "We have been cleaning out every ditch around town. We started with 10 workers but two got other jobs and we now have eight. The mayor, Rocky James, has been working with Congressman Shimkus, Senator Gary Forby and Rep. Brandon Phelps to get these workers here. The workers cut the brush and the city hauls it off."
    Josh Griffin, back-hoe operator for the City of Eldorado, said, "They are good guys, really good workers. They stay busy."
    All Man-Tra-Con offices provide services to anyone in search of education, employment or business assistance.     The corporation provides:
    Assistance With Job Search: friendly resource room staff can help job seekers with resume and interview preparation.
    Access to Job Leads: can connect job seekers with businesses that post employment opportunities with Man-Tra-Con.
    Career Development: skills assessment and development software is available, plus “one-on-one” assistance for eligible job seekers, to help identify interests and develop a career path.
    Financial Assistance: for tuition, fees, daycare, gas, uniforms, and supplies may also be available for those who qualify and are in need of occupational training.
    Man-Tra-Con also provides services for businesses:
    Recruitment and Referrals of Qualified Applicants: the help employers avoid expensive advertising fees.
    On-the-Job Training (OJT): they train qualified candidates as they work, and they will pay up to 50% of their wages during the training period.
    Incumbent Worker Training (IWT): receive financial assistance to upgrade the skills of current employees.
    Labor/market Research and Information: including job and wage data, plus industry growth trends, forecasts and more.
    On-site Interviewing and Conference Facilities: at all of their office locations.
    Referrals to Business Tax Credits and Savings: they help businesses make money-saving connections.
