A Harrisburg juvenile has been arrested and charged with five burglaries in the area of South Main Street and Robinson Street June 13.
The juvenile is in custody and charged with five counts of burglary, criminal damage to property and theft, according to Harrisburg Police Chief Bob Smith. The burglaries occurred the evening of June 13 and in the early morning hours of June 14. The first incident was called in at 6 a.m. June 14, said Smith. Among the items stolen was a cash register from one of five locations.
The remainder of stolen items were an undetermined amount of cash.
The businesses targeted in the crime spree were the Harrisburg Township Lions Club, 1400 S. Main St.; Southern FS, 5 W. Robinson St.; Expressions Hair Salon, 1400 S. Main St.; Big Dog Motors, 994 S. Commercial and the Farm Bureau, 21 W. Robinson.
Criminal damages totaling $1,489 were done to the five victim businesses, Smith said.
