The Carrier Mills American Legion Post 364 knocked off Marion 12-1 at Goreville Thursday night.
Dalton Huckleberry took the win for Carrier Mills, pitching a complete game, while walking three and striking out five.
Jarred Jackson and Darren Betz paced the Post 364 offense as both went 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Josh Bailey finished 2-for-4 with a run scored.
Tyler Thompson finished 1-for-2 with a run, while Skyler Smith and Colton McCree went 1-for-3. Smith scored two runs and McCree added a run.
Daine Hish finished 1-for-4 with a run and Kyle Wise went 1-for-1 with a run scored.
Marion led 3-1 in the second inning in Game Two before the contest was called because of electrical problems at Goreville as half the lights went out twice before the game was called.
On Wednesday night, Carrier Mills lost at Albion 17-5 in nine innings.
Wes McGuire pitched one inning, giving up two hits, one walk and one strikeout. Zach McGuire relieved Wes and struck out seven, while walking seven.
Skyler Smith and Jackson paced the offense as each went 4-for-6. Smith scored a run and drove in three. Jackson had two RBIs.
Colton McCree was 4-for-5 with two runs and three RBIs, while Hish finished 3-for-6 with three runs and three RBIs.
Betz finished 2-for-5 with a pair of runs and two RBIs and Bailey went 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI. Brice Batson rounded out the offense, going 1-for-3 with a run.
