Pinckneyville Community High School commencement
The commencement ceremony for the Pinckneyville Community High School Class of 2013 was held Sunday, June 2 in Thomas Gymnasium, with music provided by the PCHS Concert Band, directed by Stephen Cannedy and Cathy Cunningham.
Class President Shersty Stanton welcomed the crowd and Principal Dustin Foutch presented the class honors. Co-valedictorians Raven Lawhorn, Emily Schmidt and Shersty Stanton covered past, present and future in their combined speech to classmates and attendees.
Superintendent Keith Hagene presented the class of 2013 and the PCHS Board of Education, with the help of Class Vice President Morgan Wild and Class Secretary Haley Simpson, presented the diplomas.
The PCHS Board of Education consists of Greg Bigham, Brian Kellerman, Dawn Kellerman-Smith, Nathan Kellerman, Paul Kuberski, Lisa Stanton and Greg Thompson.
