  • Jeffrey Drake fills Matt Winkleman’s seat

  • Jeffrey Drake, 24, Harrisburg was appointed Tuesday in a special meeting of the Harrisburg School Board to fill the vacancy left on the board when Dr. Matt Winkleman resigned for personal reasons, according to Superintendent Dennis Smith.

  • Jeffrey Drake, 24, Harrisburg was appointed Tuesday in a special meeting of the Harrisburg School Board to fill the vacancy left on the board when Dr. Matt Winkleman resigned for personal reasons, according to Superintendent Dennis Smith.
    Drake is a Harrisburg resident who graduated from Harrisburg High School, Southeastern Illinois College and Bradley University, Peoria. He has a degree in Communications from Bradley and works as the news director of WQRL Radio.
    He is recently married and has no children.
    "I am honored to be taken seriously.
    “I hope that I can be a part of bettering the schools," said Drake.
