Sharon Osbourne is on the top of the world, thanks to her husband's sobriety and a new job on the UK's The X Factor.
"I, today, feel like the luckiest woman in the world," Osbourne said on Wednesday's episode of The Talk. "My husband is sober, and I have the best jobs in the entire world. I kind of think my life is too good right now. But I'm not saying anything and just thank CBS and thank the ladies for being in my life. Thank you."
It was announced Wednesday that Osbourne, 60, will return to the UK version of The X Factor as a judge later this year after six years away from the reality competition. She is longtime friends with its creator, Simon Cowell, who employed her on The X Factor from 2004-07 and NBC's America's Got Talent from 2007 until last year, when she quit the series because of a dispute with the network.
"It's the tenth year of X Factor UK and I started the out show with Simon," Osbourne said. "He's the God of it all. But I started it out with him, and was there for the first four years that built the show. Then the show became a huge worldwide brand. It's the 10th anniversary, and Simon asked me to go back."
This is not the first time that Sharon has opened up about her personal life on The Talk. Days after her husband revealed that he had fallen off the wagon, Sharon discussed the situation candidly on the CBS daytime talk show. "I am devastated right now," she said on the April 23rd episode.
