I had planned to bottle the Imperial Coconut Stout, or ICS for short, but life got in the way.
The coconut has now been sitting in the bucket downstairs with the beer for about
a month. I have no idea how this will turn out, but I do plan to sterilize, and bottle it this weekend. Then a week, or two later it will be ready.
My only concern is the carbonation. I usually use 5 ounces of sugar, but this time out I may use 10 to help the carbonation process since the oils in coconut can inhibit it.
Who knows I could get lots of bottles exploding. I’ll have to see.
