Harrisburg High School head girls' soccer coach Rich Daughtery has not shied away from talking about how talented his group of freshmen are this season.
On Saturday, a few of those freshmen, along with the rest of the Bulldog bunch flexed their muscles in a 3-0 win against Massac County to give Harrisburg its first regional title in 13 years at the Olney Regional.
Lillee Robinson, a freshman, got the goal scoring going when she punched in a pair of goals. Fellow freshman Kelsey Hobbs scored the game's other goal as the Bulldogs now prep for Thursday night's sectional showdown with Alton Marquette in Freeburg at 6:30 p.m.
Olivia Rice provided the assist on Robinson's first goal, while Hobbs' came on a bounce back from the Massac County goal keeper.
