  • Eldorado earned an 11-8 victory over Pope County Monday, while Harrisburg got back on track with a 1-0 victory against Benton at home.
    Kara Dale and Charley Lowery went 3-for-5 with a pair of RBIs, while Caitlyn Stafford finished 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored.
    Ashton Unthank went 2-for-5 with three runs scored and one RBI, while Sam Mings and Stephanie Oker each had a hit.
    Mary Mitchell picked up the win for Eldorado as the freshman allowed six earned runs on 12 hits. Mitchell struck out one and walked two.
    Eldorado broke a 2-2 tie after one inning by scoring two runs in the second and two more in the third, before finishing with five runs in the fifth.
    Harrisburg 1, Benton
    Ashley Ferrell got a one-out single in the first and was bunted to second by Kaitlyn Hutchison and then scored on a single by Brittany Reynolds for the lone and winning run for the Bulldogs.
    Hanna Jones got the win on the mound, scattering five hits and striking out four.
    Harrisburg is now 8-14 overall and 2-8 in the SIRR Ohio Division and are set to go to Gallatin County Wednesday, before traveling to Johnston City Thursday and Union County, Ky., on Saturday.
