The Daily Register/Eldorado Daily Journal announces new regional sales manager

David Pinkerton of Harrisburg has been named regional sales manager for The Daily Register/Eldorado Daily Journal.

Pinkerton will be supervising the advertising sales of five people working out of offices of The Daily Register/Eldorado Daily Journal, The Money Stretcher and Carmi Times, all southeastern Illinois publications owned by GateHouse Media.

He has 23 years of experience in sales for the health care industry and is pastor of Raleigh Baptist Church.

"I am excited about working with the Harrisburg staff and helping the community to prosper through the products that we offer. It's a community newspaper that reflects the ideas and personality of Southern Illinois," Pinkerton said.

Pinkerton is well-known among businesses throughout county having been an active member of the Saline County Chamber of Commerce Board.

GateHouse Southern Illinois Group Regional Publisher Kevin Haezebroeck welcomes Pinkerton on board.

"I look forward to having David on the team and look forward to working with him," Haezebroeck said.
