  • Hannah Jones suffered the hard-luck loss for Harrisburg Tuesday.
    In the circle, Jones pitched a one hitter, but had to watch as her Bulldog defense committed six errors behind her, two of which led to a pair of runs in the third and fourth inning.
    Harrisburg took an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first when Jones reached and scored on Brittany Reynolds' RBI.
    Harrisburg is scheduled to return to action Friday when they host West Frankfort at 4:30 p.m.
    Carmi-White County 21, Eldorado 0
    Ashton Unthank and Cassidy Morris got the only two hits for Eldorado Tuesday as they dropped a home contest to Carmi-White County at the EHS Sports Complex.
    Mary Mitchell, pitching in her second straight game, suffered the loss for Eldorado.
    Mitchell allowed 13 earned runs on 15 hits, while striking out four and walking seven.
    Eldorado is back in action Thursday when Eldorado is slated to play at Zeigler-Royalton at 4:30 p.m.
