Both Harrisburg and Eldorado girls' Track & Field teams competed Thursday at West Frankfort with Harrisburg coming away with a handful of first place finishes.
For the Bulldogs, Lindsey Murray took first place in the pole vault, clearing 9-feet-6. Taylor McDaniel had a first place finish in the 1600 meter run, finishing in a time of 5:52.89 and Amy DeNeal was first in the triple jump.
Kelsey Hobbs finished first in the 200 meter dash, while Brady Holmes was third.
Holmes was one of two Bulldogs to grab a second place finish as Holmes took second in the pole vault and the 3200 meter relay team had a time of 11:36.78 for second place. McDaniel finished second in the 3200 meter run with 12:24.15.
The 400 meter relay team finished fourth for Harrisburg, while Tiffanie Milligan was third in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:51.2.
For Eldorado, the 3200 meter relay team of Dempsey Hankins, Danielle Bradley, Alyssa Payne and Erica Graczyk finished fourth with a time of 12:25.
Hankins took fourth place in the 3200 meter run with a time of 13:54 and Sadie Steed finished fourth in the triple jump with a time of 28-feet-1/2.
The 400 meter relay team of Sarah Baldwin, Carrie Sauls, Andrea Wright and Jaqlyn Artman finished sixth with a time of 1:07.87.
Danielle Bradley was also sixth in the 100 meters with a time of 21.9. Eldorado's next meet will be April 17th at Carmi-White County High School.
