  • There were no contested races for the Southeastern Illinois College Board of Trustees or for the Regional Board of School Trustees.
    SIC board had two open seats and two candidates to fill them. From Saline County Pat York received 2,399 votes, 49 percent; and Jimmy D. Ellis had 2,415 votes, 50 percent.
    The Regional Board of School Trustees that represents Edwards, Gallatin, Hardin, Pope, Saline, Wabash, Wayne and White counties had three open seats and three candidates.
    Those were Suzanne C. Dutton who received from Saline voters 1,898 votes, 36 percent; Larry E. Peterson who received 1,494 votes, 28 percent; and Timothy W. Scates who received 1,775, 34 percent.
