The state champs and their trophy visited the greatest generation at Golden Circle Wednesday morning.
The Harrisburg High School basketball team made an appearance and were peppered with questions by the senior group in attendance at the Golden Circle center at the First Presbyterian Church Annex.
Tyler Smithpeters was asked about his injured foot and told the crowd he was doing fine.
Another senior asked when the team knew they had it won. Guard Justin Younger answered, "When the final buzzer went off. When it was over."
The event was a mutual admiration society as the seniors fawned over the athletes and the athletes returned respect and consideration for their elders.
