The Harrisburg High School girls' softball team are off to a 3-0 start with wins over Hardin County, Century and Galatia to start the season.
The Bulldogs beat Hardin County 5-0 and followed that up with a pair of weekend wins against Century (9-4) and Galatia (4-2).
In the win against the Cougars, Hanna Jones picked up the win on the mound, going seven innings and allowing two hits and striking out eight.
Jones also got the win over Galatia, while Ashley Ferrell picked up the victory against Century.
Hannah Davis led Harrisburg at the plate, going 2-for-2 with two RBIs, while Kaitlyn Hutchison went 1-for-2 with an RBI.
In the win over Century, Hutchison led all players with a 3-for-4 performance at the plate, while Jones finished 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs. Brittany Reynolds and Ferrell both went 2-for-4 and Whitney Younger finished up a 1-for-4 day at the plate with an RBI.
In Harrisburg's win over Galatia, all four runs came in the first inning when Reynolds had 3 RBIs, finishing 3-for-3 on the day and Younger was 1-for-3 with an RBI.
The Eldorado softball team is 1-0 after a 3-1 win against Wayne City last week.
Michaela Laswell worked seven innings, allowing three hits, one run and struck out 13 to move to 1-0 on the year.
Stephanie Oker, Caitlyn Stafford and Laswell each went 1-for-3 for the Eagles, while Ashton Unthank and Charley Lowery both went 1-for-2.
Laswell had an RBI, while Unthank scored two runs and Stafford scored the other.
