The 6-foot-6 Gallatin County senior bailed out his ballclub, scoring seven points in the game's final 1:45 to give the Hawks a 45-40 lead as they rallied to knock off Steeleville 52-47 in Wednesday night's Class 1A Sectional semifinal at Hardin County High School.
Gallatin County (26-3) trailed by two, 40-38 with 4:35 to play when Lowe knocked down a pair of free throws, drilled a 3-pointer and turned a turn over into a break away dunk to give the Hawks a five-point lead with 2:00 to play.
From there, Gallatin County held off the opposition as Lowe finished with 21 points and Andrew Drone tacked on 12 points, while Daine Hish also finished in double figures, netting 11 points.
Mitchell Ramsey finished with five points, while Wes McGuire tacked on two points and Anthony Storto had a free throw.
Gallatin County will now play Meridian in the sectional championship for the second straight year. The Bobcats knocked off Goreville 77-65 Tuesday.
