The Eldorado High School boys’ basketball team sent their seniors out on a sour note with a 72-61 loss to Christopher Saturday night. On Friday, the Eagles dropped a nine-point contest to Johnston City, losing 69-60.
In the loss to the Indians, Eldorado opened with a 15-4 first quarter lead and led 30-22 at halftime.
Johnston City cranked up its offense in the third quarter, outscoring EHS 24-13 and closing the game out on a 23-17 run.
Tyler Deaon led all scorers with 19 points, while Justin Wiseman finished with 15 points. Joel Boulds netter nine points and Dakota Mitchell scored seven points. Dylan Lawrence chipped in with six points. Dillion Street and Richard Graceffa each had two points for Eldorado.
The Eagles knocked down five 3-pointers in the contest with Deaton hitting on three. Boulds and Mitchell each had one.
Against the Bearcats, Deaton was one of two players to score in double figures as he pumped in 20 and Boulds scored 16.
Lawrence added eight points, while Wiseman scored seven points. Street and Graceffa each tacked on three points, while Dylan Roberts and Mitchell each scored two points.
The Eagles banged home seven 3-pointers as Deaton hit three, Boulds had two and Street and Graceffa each had one.
The losses dropped Eldorado to 11-178overall and 4-7 in the Black Diamond Conference East.
