Glenn Edward Boner, 69, Burnt Prairie, passed away 12:10 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at his residence.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Harre Funeral Home with the Rev. Alan Spangler and Sister Ruby McDowell officiating. Visitation is 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lindale Cemetery in Eldorado.
He was born July 9, 1943, in Eldorado to Paul Edward Boner and Ellen Margaret Hayes. He married Sally Lou (Wells) Aug. 3, 1991, in Fairfield. He was an assembly line operator employed by Champion Labs in Olney. He attended Congregational Christian Chapel in McLeansboro. He loved fishing, traveling and camping at Civil War re-enactments.
He is survived by his wife, Sally Boner of Burnt Prairie; six daughters, Karen Sue Williams of South Peloit, Janis Boner Rexing and husband Walter of McLeansboro, Rebecca Lou Mason and husband Mark of Tampa, Fla., Glenna Kay Wood and husband C.C. Wood of McLeansboro, Mildred Louise Wright and husband Geoffrey of Fairfield and Bessie Millenbine and husband Ronny of McLeansboro; one son, Joseph E. Boner and wife Amy L. of Benton; one sister, Mary Margaret Britton of West Frankfort.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife H. Dianna (Butler) Boner, son Douglas Glenn Boner, grandson Aaron Wright and granddaughter Jessica Morgan.
Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro is in charge of all arrangements.
